This Prohibited Items & Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy” or “AUP”) is a standalone, binding policy governing all use of the Pykkit platform, including but not limited to the website, mobile applications, APIs, communication tools, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
The purpose of this Policy is to:
Protect the safety of Couriers, Senders, Receivers, and the public
Prevent criminal, illegal, or harmful use of the Platform
Establish clear, enforceable rules for acceptable conduct
Enable swift suspension or termination of accounts
Reduce legal, regulatory, and insurance exposure
Demonstrate good-faith compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local laws
This Policy is intentionally separate from the Terms of Service to ensure clarity, enforceability, and ease of reference. Courts, regulators, and insurers routinely expect a clear, standalone Acceptable Use Policy for platforms that facilitate physical goods transportation.
This Policy is incorporated by reference into:
The Terms of Service
The Courier Independent Contractor Agreement
The Courier Acknowledgment & Electronic Consent Agreement
Any supplemental policies or addenda
By accessing or using the Platform, all Users agree to be bound by this Policy, regardless of whether the User has read it in full. Continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance.
The Platform operates under a zero-tolerance policy for prohibited items and prohibited uses.
Violation of this Policy may result in, without limitation:
Immediate account suspension
Permanent account termination
Forfeiture of earnings
Denial of insurance claims
Referral to law enforcement
Civil liability
Indemnification obligations
The Platform reserves sole discretion to determine violations.
All Users—Senders, Couriers, and Receivers—are strictly responsible for compliance with this Policy.
This means:
Lack of knowledge is not a defense
Mislabeling does not excuse violations
Courier reliance on Sender descriptions does not eliminate Courier responsibility
Platform facilitation does not imply approval or legality
Each User bears full responsibility for ensuring compliance before engaging in any activity.
Users may not use the Platform to:
Commit, facilitate, or conceal illegal activity
