Purpose: To ensure ongoing informed consent and acknowledgment of all Platform policies, procedures, and legal agreements.
All Couriers must annually reaffirm:
Understanding of the Independent Contractor status
Receipt and comprehension of Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other governing documents
Awareness of Proposition 22 earnings and benefit policies (California)
Acceptance of risk, insurance obligations, and indemnification responsibilities
Courier is required to:
Review all incorporated agreements and policies on the Platform
Electronically acknowledge continued acceptance
Certify that personal information is accurate and current
This process ensures that Couriers maintain awareness of legal and operational obligations.
As part of the re-acknowledgment:
Couriers confirm understanding of safety policies
Couriers report any unresolved incidents or claims
Couriers reaffirm that Platform safety guidance has been reviewed
Courier annually confirms that:
Personal insurance coverage is maintained
Optional Platform-provided insurance, if applicable, has been reviewed
Any changes to vehicle, equipment, or insurance status have been reported
Failure to complete the Annual Re-Acknowledgment may result in:
Suspension or termination of Platform access
Ineligibility for earnings or bonuses until completion
Continued liability for obligations and indemnifications under previous agreements
By completing the Annual Re-Acknowledgment, Courier affirms:
Understanding of risks, obligations, and policies
Agreement to continue participation under the terms of all governing agreements
Commitment to maintain compliance with safety, insurance, and legal requirements
Courier’s electronic signature or acknowledgment carries the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
